Some better footage of the noise. It did start for a few seconds but it sounded horrible.

Hate to say it, but that engine lacks compression and sounds like it smoked at least one bearing.

No spark why your guess is as good as mine.

What difference would it make? I recorded it for the audio. Unless you really want to see me pumping the gas pedal

This might be the end of an era for it

Mine made that same noise when the coils went bad on it. Maybe that’s all it is. After your other post I am worried there may be more to it, though. When will you be able to get it to a shop?

God I hope so. AAA came and got it, the shop’s closed until Monday so I just get to wonder/worry/concern myself

I can’t listen now, but if it’s a loud tapping it might just be a loose spark plug. They’ll sound like top end failure when loose, but torquing it down should do the trick if that’s what it is.

Ok, got a chance to watch the vid. Not a loose plug.
Hard to say. Maybe fuel pump or relay. Maybe coil if that engine uses just one. Ews may have gone out of sync (if equipped) especially if you let the battery go dead with the key in the ignition.
Hope they can get you sorted

Agreed. And something is very tight judging by how quickly it stopped turning when it died.
